a sentence.
Maybe you know your Sun, Moon and rising. But put a whole chart in front of you, and it can feel like a language you only half remember.
We start with one idea, show it in context, and invite you to try. Planets become verbs. Signs add texture. Houses offer a setting. Aspects bring the pieces into conversation.
Learn to read a placement, connect its themes and explain your reasoning. Every lesson gives you a clear next step.
Make it your own.
Answer four questions and complete an assignment that asks you to show your reasoning.

Try a name, a word, or a whole number. Watch the arithmetic unfold, then use the theme as a reflection prompt.
Spaces and punctuation do not add value. For other alphabets or accents, choose the A–Z spelling you want to explore.

The convention behind the pattern
Pythagorean letter values.
Single-digit reduction.
Assign A–Z repeating values from 1 to 9, add the values, then keep adding digits until one remains. This version reduces 11, 22 and 33 to 2, 4 and 6. Some schools retain master numbers; this explorer does not use that method.
The five reference sheets stay five—a small nod to exploration. Counts describe the materials actually included, and prices refer to the displayed USD base amounts before tax or conversion.

Before you begin
A few good
questions.
Do I need an exact birth time?
You can study signs and many aspects without one. The Ascendant and houses require reliable birth-time information, and the Moon can be uncertain too. The course and uncertainty helper show what to leave out.
Will this calculate a birth chart from my birth details?
The tools work with placements you enter from an existing chart. They calculate angular separations, major aspects, whole-sign houses and counts. They do not calculate planetary positions, an Ascendant, transits, or rectify a birth time.
How does the course work?
Follow twelve written lessons at your own pace. Each lesson combines a clear explanation, a quiz and a practical assignment. Worked examples and rubrics help you refine your reading before the final project.
What approach will I learn?
Learn modern Western astrology with a tropical zodiac and whole-sign houses. Worked calculations, linked sources and a consistent method make the reasoning easy to follow.
Can I try a lesson before buying?
Yes. The complete first lesson, its worked example and four-question quiz are free to explore without an account. When enrollment opens, The Foundations will be available for $81 USD as a one-time purchase.
What happens to my writing?
The free lesson lets you try the exercises in the current page; those drafts are not saved. With course access, choose Save to keep your learning work in your account and export it whenever you need. Ask permission before including someone else’s birth information.
